Terms of Service
These terms cover bgcheck, the background-check service at bgcheck.lunanineai.com, run by the luna9 org (2050.to). Questions: bgcheck@luna9.space.
What the service does
You paste facts, links, and a question; we run automated research against public sources and AI services and return a report with sources. Every run is charged once — identical resubmits return the same result without a second charge.
Payments
- One payment unlocks one run: $1 by card (Stripe) or the crypto invoice shown at checkout ($1.04 and up, per the live price and the chain's decimals).
- Crypto invoices are quotes: pay the exact amount to the exact address within the 15-minute window. A payment matches one invoice — that is the point of the unique cents amounts.
- Card payments confirm via Stripe's webhook; crypto via on-chain matching. Until one lands, the run stays locked.
- All sales are final. We do not refund completed payments. What we do guarantee: a paid run that failed is yours to re-run at no charge — payment survives a failed attempt and retrying costs nothing new. If a paid run cannot be completed at all, contact us and we will make it right on that run.
Free tiers
Wallets holding at least 1,000,000 LUNA9 on Robinhood Chain can prove holding in-browser (a signature that grants no asset access and stores nothing) and get free runs, limited per day. Allowlisted members sign in by email and run free.
What the report is — and is not
Reports are automated research over public sources and AI services. They can be wrong, stale, or incomplete; treat them as a starting point, not a verdict. bgcheck is not a consumer reporting agency and the report is not legal, financial, or investment advice. Do not use it to make decisions about employment, tenancy, credit, or insurance eligibility.
Acceptable use
No automated abuse of the service (scraping, bulk automated runs, probing the payment or verification flows). We may rate-limit or refuse service for abuse.
Availability and liability
The service is provided as is, without warranties to the extent law allows. We aim for uptime but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the run in question.
Changes
Material changes to these terms will be dated on this page. Using the service after a change means you accept it.
